It should be noted that the inherent nature of the net means that the third-world is severly underrepresented in this survey. Most surveyees are from first world nations, with a few from developing nations. Of course, the countries that have the most widespread net usage are predominantly caucasian. Something that should be kept in mind.

    Analysis & Notes
This is a white community, no doubt about it. There is an asian presence, and a token presence for other races. This question provoked a lot of interesting responses in the survey, with people downright refusing to answer based on the fact that the question was "inappropriate", "irrelevant" and "shouldn't be asked". To this I ask, why? If it doesn't matter what race you are, why the pussy-footing around answering a simple question? Races are a fact of life. The human race is biologically divided into races and there is nothing wrong with making that distinction. It is only when you start discriminating, or treating people differently based on race, that it is wrong.  This has never happened in this community. It is possible that the non-respondants are worried that as soon as race is mentioned in this "faceless online world" of the Net, racism will erupt. I believe that this community is not ignorant, and this will not happen.

There were about 7 different "synonyms" for caucasian that people wrote down, including "white bastard" :)

We were all born around the world, but the majority are Yanks, followed by Canucks and Aussies :). Vast cultural diversity is shown here. There are at least 2 people born from every continent in the world (except Antarctica) in this community.

This list is much shorter than the list of countries of birth. This probably symbolises people migrating to countries that are economically better off. (6 of the 7 countries in the G7 is represented here - Italy being the exception)

This list is longer than the country of residence list. Probably signifies the retention of original citizenship.

    Analysis & Notes
Extremely long. Extremely diverse. Again, the comparative lengths of the lists above shows that although the e/n community (and internet) are primarily people from first world nations, these people may have originated from anywhere else in the world.
