Veoh Files for Bankruptcy After Fending Off Infringement Charges (txt)
Veoh blames it on the lawsuit from Universal Music (which Veoh actually won - I wrote a note about the case here). After $70m in funding, they were unable to raise another round of cash. Not sure what the issue was - that the lawsuit made them burn through their cash quicker than it would take for them to get to profitability? Or their investors just didn't see the path to profit so didn't want to pony up more?
