Interesting rant. I've always thought there was a massive failure to adapt by the music industry. The law says one thing, but when there's an inability to effectively enforce it and 99%+ of people who own an iPod are copyright violators, it's clear that society has moved on. Businesses have to move on... and only then can the law move on.
